If you are passionate about safe robot autonomy, machine learning, control theory, and computer vision, we would love to hear from you. Below is how to reach us at each stage.
Postdoctoral Researchers
We welcome inquiries from prospective postdoctoral scholars. Funding pathways, such as the Mitacs Accelerate fellowship program, are often available for collaborative projects.
Email us your CV and a brief statement of research interests.Graduate Students
Prospective MSc and PhD students should apply directly through the Simon Fraser University School of Computing Science. If your research aligns with our focus on reliable robot decision-making, please mention the Introbotics Lab in your application statement.
Apply through SFU first — admission is handled by the School, not the lab.Undergraduate Students
We actively mentor highly motivated undergraduate students for special research projects (such as CMPT 415/416). If you are interested in gaining hands-on experience evaluating machine learning models or working with physical robot systems, we would like to hear from you.
Email us your transcript and resume.Get in Touch
For postdoctoral and undergraduate enquiries, write to us directly. Graduate applicants should apply through SFU first, then send a note so we can look out for the application.
